Powers & Company, Inc. is currently involved with the rehabilitation of the Zurbrugg Mansion, located at 531 Delaware Avenue in Delanco, Burlington County, NJ.  Powers & Company, Inc. will be assisting the owner with pursuing Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentives. In the proposed rehabilitation, the building will be rehabilitated into an eighty room hotel with a restaurant on the first floor. Powers & Company, Inc. was responsible for writing the National Register Nomination for the building, which was approved at the national level for listing on the National Register of Historic Places on August 28, 2009 by the National Park Service.

This magnificant Classical Revival style dwelling was constructed in 1910 by Furness, Evans & Company as the primary residence of Theophilus Zurbrugg and his family. In c. 1960, the building was expanded to the east with a 3-story brick wing. The Zurbrugg Mansion has architectural significance as a work of Furness, Evans and Company, and was the last known residential commission of the firm before the death in 1912 of notable Philadelphia architect Frank Furness.
