Powers & Company, Inc. is presently involved in a Federal Historic Preservation Tax Credit project for three interconnected buildings in a National Historic District in downtown Binghamton, NY. All three buildings date to the late 19th century. One of these, at 15-17 Chenango Street ,was originally built as a Masonic temple; the other two, at 83 and 85-87 Court Street, originally functioned as commercial buildings. The buildings were connected in the mid-20th century to create a downtown mall. All three buildings will be rehabilitated into student apartments for SUNY-Binghamton. |
